Weekend Hours: Every other weekend required 

Call Requirements: None 

Float Requirements: Float required to all inpatient units 

Additional Notes: We are looking for experienced surgical nurses who also have experience with telemetry. This is a 37 bed unit with a high churn to accommodate our surgical population. Bariatric experience is preferred; We have an Ultrasound IV Team who work 7am to 10pm, We do not have issues usually find a nurse to help with IVs as needed.

Patient Ratio: 1:5

Equipment: Specialty beds (bariatrics), wound vacs, prevena vacs; Baxter IV Pumps 

EHR: Omnicell, Cerner 

Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: 

Requirements:

2YRS+ Exp Working in Specialty 

2YRS+ Exp Working Only in Acute Care Setting 

ACTIVE BLS (AHA)

ACTIVE ACLS (AHA)Must Have Skills/Experience: Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias 

Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Medical management of diagnoses such as DM and PNA, trauma, general surgery, bariatrics, plastics, urology
