Description

Travel RN – Emergency Department / ER Holding (Critical Care Level) – Day Shift

We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse to support a high-acuity ER / ER Holding unit caring for critically ill patients requiring ICU-level interventions.

Shift & Schedule

Day Shift: 3 × 12-hour shifts
Hours: 07:00 AM – 07:00 PM
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:1 – 1:2

Experience Requirements

Minimum 1.5 years of recent ER experience
Strong, hands-on experience with IABP and CRRT is REQUIRED
Experience caring for patients with multi-system organ dysfunction or failure

Certifications Required

BLS
ACLS
PALS (ER only)
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Required Skills & Competencies

Candidates must be proficient in:

Advanced airway management
Care of ventilated patients
Arterial line (Art line) management (preferred for ER)
Central line management
CRRT management
IABP management
Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
ABG interpretation
Continuous IV sedation
Titration of IV vasopressors and critical drips
Isolation precautions
ER triage skills (ER / ER Holding only)
Computerized documentation
