Pay Hourly: $52.00, Overtime Pay: $78.00, Weekly Gross Pay: $1,872.00

Shift:

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Days)
• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Nights)
• 3 shifts per week
• One weekend required per month

Job Description:
Providence Medical Center is seeking an experienced Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to acutely ill patients requiring close monitoring. The Stepdown RN will manage patients transitioning from ICU or with higher acuity needs than standard Med-Surg, utilizing strong clinical judgment and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown/Progressive Care setting
• Monitor cardiac telemetry and patient status
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Perform assessments, documentation, and care coordination
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans

Credentials Required:

• Active RN License for State of Kansas
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• NIHSS

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous Stepdown or Progressive Care experience
• Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills
