Description

RN First Assistant (RNFA) – General Surgery OR

Department: OR – Surgery General (Major)
Location: Illinois
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM + Call

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum of 2 years of RNFA experience in a General Surgery OR setting
Robotic surgery experience required
Open surgery experience required
Experience firing surgical staplers
Must be able to assist the surgeon throughout procedures (scrubbing required)
Ability to work collaboratively with surgeons, OR staff, and surgical technologists
Strong clinical judgment, technical skills, and attention to detail

Requirements for Submission:

BLS Certification required.
Active Illinois RN license or proof of application
Confirmation candidate understands and agrees to OSF Drug-Free Campus policy
