Description

Under the limited supervision of the Neurodiagnostic (ND) Tech Educator or delegated team member, prepares patients for a combination of routine Electroencephalography (EEG), Electromyography (EMG), long-term and intraoperative monitoring, evoked potentials, nerve conduction velocities, autonomic testing, Neuro Interventional radiology WADA and Positron Emission Tomography (PET) including diagnostic and investigative studies in the laboratory, at the bedside, and in critical care units, on all ages of patients served by the department.

Contract period 13 weekFriday-Monday6am to 430pm OR Open to Fridays to Sundays 3/12hour shift 6a-630pSkills: Required Skills & Experience:-Proven ability to perform Electroencephalography. Preferred Skills & Experience:-2+ years of proven experience as a Neurodiagnostic Technician.-Nerve Conduction Velocity Testing.-Autonomics.-Long Term Monitoring.-Evoked Potentials.-Magnetoencephalography. nullEducation: Required Education:-High school graduate or equivalent. Preferred Education:-Graduate of an accredited Neurodiagnostic Technology program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalography E Evoked Potentials (ABRET). Required Certifications & Licensure:-American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved
