Job Opportunity: RN - NICU (Travel)

Location: Kennewick, Washington
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Facility & Unit Information

  • Department: NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit)
  • Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Number of Openings: 1
  • Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
  • Float Requirements: May be required to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility
  • Patient Population: Neonatal, with cross-coverage in OB units due to staffing shortages
  • Facility Size: 111 beds
  • Teaching Hospital

Requirements

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of recent acute nursing experience
  • Specialty experience: NICU, minimum 2 years required (highest years of experience specified)
  • Prior travel experience: Not explicitly required

Certifications & Licenses

  • Current State Registered Nurse License
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification

Skills & Abilities

  • Must be trained and able to work in both NICU and OB units (cross-training required)
  • Ability to float within a 25-mile radius as needed
