RN Emergency Room
Position Requirements & Expectations

Must be willing to float to other campuses to maintain hours if census drops
Every other weekend (EOW) required
Traveler is responsible for making up any missed shifts
If RTO falls on a scheduled weekend, traveler must secure coverage
If placed on-call, traveler must be able to return to the facility within 1 hour
No block scheduling permitted. No exceptions

Experience & Certifications Required

Travel experience required
Minimum 2 years of recent experience
Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC

Clinical Skills Required

IV drip management
Isolation precautions
Triage experience required (ER / ER Holding only)

Additional Details

Experience with electronic charting systems required
Nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:1 to 1:2+, depending on acuity
