Description

Cardiac Device Technician

The Cardiac Device Technician’s primary role is to perform in-person and remote monitoring of single, dual and CRT pacing systems, implanted cardiac defibrillators, pacemakers and implanted loop recorders. This position ensures excellent care for patients in collaboration with our Cardiac Device Clinic Team.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/CERT:
At least 1 year prior experience performing remote implanted cardiac device monitoring and technical assistance
Experience on how to interrogate and program a pacemaker or defibrillator
CCDS Cardiac Device Specialist Certification
BLS Required

Years of Experience: 2 years Note: 2 years’ experience working in Cardiology with direct experience in cardiac arrhythmia and/or electrophysiology and at least 1 year prior experience performing remote implanted cardiac device monitoring and technical assistance Certifications: Certs marked with * are preferred. BLS, Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT)*, EKG training certificate* Charting System: Required
