Description

Nuclear Medicine / PET Technologist – Orange, CA

Mixed Modality | Academic Medical Center

Location: Orange, CA
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Start Times: Between 7:00 AM and 11:00 AM (8 hours per shift)
On Call: None

Position Details:

Mix of Nuclear Medicine & PET
Extremely high-volume department
Broad range of procedures & radiopharmaceuticals
Academic environment with complex cases and trials

Requirements:

Active California license REQUIRED
BLS
ARRT or CNMT certification REQUIRED
Minimum 1 year of specialty experience
Experience with GE, Hitachi, Philips, Siemens, or Toshiba
Required clinical competencies:
- Radioactive material handling
- IV starts
- HIDA, cardiac stress, lung, bone & thyroid scans
- Uptake
- Computerized documentation
- Isolation precautions
Strong ability to work independently in a high-volume setting
