Description

Registered Nurse (RN) – Step Down / PCU Tele
Location: Lubbock, TX
Shift: Night Shift | 3x12s (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Facility Type: Short-Term Acute Care | Level II Trauma Center

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to step-down/telemetry patients
Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret dysrhythmias
Safely titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips (HARD REQUIREMENT)
Manage patients requiring insulin drips, PCA, heparin protocols
Perform IV therapy, central line and PICC care
Care for patients with chest tubes, tracheostomies, and renal conditions
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including dialysis, RT, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
Document care using EPIC charting system

Required Qualifications

Active RN license
Minimum 1 year of Step Down / PCU / IMC experience
Must have experience titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips (required)
BLS required
ACLS & NIHSS preferred
EPIC charting experience required
