Orientation Dates: 2/2, 2/9, 2/16, 2/23 Only CVOR/RN - 12-hour shifts Monday through Friday - 7a to 7p plus call requirements for all travelers in cardiac surgery (days during the week will vary depending on the need of the unit and unit cannot offer a block schedule) Call Required. CVOR OR - Must be able to scrub. RNs who can scrub & circulate cardiac surgeries are required. 1000+ bed hospital. 56 bed OR (inpt and outpatient) & 5 procedural. Level 1 trauma. Must have a minimum of 2 years CVOR OR experience. Must have prior travel experience. Must have a minimum of 2 years CVOR experience. Patient population: Complex CABG/valve/repeat cardiac procedures, heart failure, ECMO, VAD, heart and lung transplant, PTE, cardiac trauma, adult congenital. Age Range: adult; no peds. Children’s Hosp. OR is separate. Could float between OR but not locations. IVS to Interview/MGR to Offer. All travelers must be willing to take call (3 layers of call 24-7) (requirements vary every 6 weeks) in addition to 3 x 12 hour shifts. Vanderbilt requires all travelers to have complete COVID vaccine series or valid exemption by Start Date. No Exceptions.
