Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: VA Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS) – Palo Alto & Menlo Park, CA
Work Sites:
- 3801 Miranda Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304
- 795 Willow Street, Menlo Park, CA 94025
Position Overview
The VA Palo Alto Health Care System is seeking full-time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide on-site nursing care to eligible Veterans in Community Living Centers. LPNs will deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with nationally recognized nursing standards and VA policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to geriatric patients in a clinical setting
- Perform nursing duties consistent with LPN scope of practice
- Follow VA standards of care, safety protocols, and infection control measures
- Accurately document patient care and comply with sign-in/sign-out procedures
- Adhere to VA Medical Staff By-Laws, rules, and regulations
- Complete required VA training and annual mandatory education
