Position Overview
A reputable health system in Bismarck, ND is seeking an experienced Travel Sleep Technologist to join their night‑shift sleep lab team. This assignment offers steady overnight scheduling, strong weekly pay, and the opportunity to support a well‑established program focused on high‑quality diagnostic sleep studies. Ideal for an RPSGT who is confident working independently and delivering accurate, patient‑centered care.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Sleep Tech experience
- Active RPSGT credential
- Current BLS
- North Dakota license (active or application in process)
- Permanent address must be 80+ miles from Bismarck, ND
- Strong knowledge of sleep staging, scoring, PAP titration, and AASM standards
Responsibilities
- Perform overnight polysomnographic studies
- Monitor and document sleep stages, respiratory events, cardiac activity, and limb movements
- Conduct CPAP/BiPAP titrations and troubleshoot equipment
- Score studies according to AASM guidelines
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and proper sensor application
- Communicate effectively with sleep physicians and clinical staff
