MRI Technologist

Location: North Carolina

Summary:
The MRI Technologist performs magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role ensures high‑quality imaging, patient safety, and compliance with North Carolina and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Perform MRI exams according to physician orders and protocols
Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
Ensure patient safety and comfort during scans
Operate and maintain MRI equipment
Accurately document procedures and patient information
Follow MRI safety, infection control, and quality standards

Qualifications

Certification in MRI (ARRT‑MR or equivalent)
Active North Carolina MRI/ Radiologic Technologist eligibility
Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology or MRI program
BLS certification (required or preferred)
Strong communication and patient care skills
