License/Certification:

Must maintain a current valid certification of the following:

o Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association

o Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association

o Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) from the American Heart Association

o AWHONN Intermediate EFM Certification required within six (6) months of hire

o AWHONN Advanced EFM Certification required within six (6) months of hire.

o National Institutes of Health (NIH) – NIHSS – NIH Stroke Scale required within six (6) months of hire

o STABLE Certification within 1 year of hire

o Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO) within 1 year of hire

Experience:

A minimum of at least 2 years of OB nursing experience in antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery and Labor and Delivery.
