Licensure

Must hold a current, valid, full, and unrestricted RN license to practice in any U.S. state, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory

Certifications
Must maintain the following certifications throughout employment:

Basic Life Support (BLS), American Heart Association
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), American Heart Association

The following must be completed within the specified timeframes:

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), American Heart Association, within 6 months of hire
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), within 6 months of hire
Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR), Competency and Credentialing Institute, within 1 year of hire
Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC), within 2 years of hire

Education

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required

Experience

Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing and/or operating room experience required
