Facility Overview:

• Maniilaq Association provides health, tribal and social services to residents of Northwest Alaska. A non-profit corporation, Maniilaq Association represents twelve federally recognized tribes located in Northwest Alaska. Maniilaq manages health, tribal and social services for about 8,000 people within the Northwest Arctic Borough and the village of Point Hope. With approximately 550 in its workforce, Maniilaq Association is also the largest employer.

Details:

• Current AK license
• 2+ years recent ED experience required
• Behavioral Health experience strongly preferred
• ACLS, BLS
• Must be willing to float in general, cross train / float to MS, and take BH patients
• Personality is important! Must be flexible, adaptable, independent and really care about the community!
• Previous travel and cultural sensitivity
• Housing provided at no cost to traveler (dorm style housing standardly, though occasionally studio apartments open up)
• Flights covered at no cost to traveler

We cannot accommodate block scheduling. There is no current availability for pet friendly housing. Provided housing is shared spaces—so we can only accommodate the RN’s housing needs and no overnight visitors allowed in these units.
