Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:15 PM
Area: Special Education (TBD)

Pay

• Hourly Rate: $70.00
• Overtime Rate: $105.00
• Weekly Gross: $2,520.00

Position Summary

The School Psychologist will provide instructional support and technical assistance with progress monitoring, data analysis, interventions, and evaluation processes. This role works collaboratively with educators, families, and administrators to support student academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop effective solutions for academic and behavioral concerns
• Participate in service team and case study meetings
• Observe students in instructional settings to identify intervention strategies, barriers, and collect data for eligibility and re-evaluations
• Document evaluation and assessment results in compliance with district and state requirements
• Conduct cognitive evaluations when necessary
• Participate in Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
• Serve as the LEA for Annual Reviews, Re-evaluations, and Domain meetings (required for middle school assignments)
• Collaborate with building service teams to schedule meetings
• Serve as LEA in FBA/BIP development and update meetings (required for middle school assignments)
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the principal or administrative staff

Education & Credentials Required

• Master’s Degree and/or Specialist Degree in School Psychology
• Active Illinois PEL (Professional Educator License) with School Psychologist endorsement
• Experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Bilingual Spanish/English (written and verbal) preferred not required
