Position: Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS)
Location: Mission Viejo, CA (may float to Laguna Beach)
Facility: Providence Mission Hospital Mission Viejo
Address: 27700 Medical Center Rd, Mission Viejo, CA 92691, USA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift – 5x8s
- Weekdays: 4:00 AM – 12:30 PM
- Weekends: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

🔬 Key Responsibilities

Perform clinical laboratory testing in hematology, chemistry, and blood bank
Handle massive transfusion protocols in a trauma setting
Ensure accuracy, quality control, and timely reporting of lab results
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

✅ Requirements

Experience: Minimum 2 years (strong blood bank experience REQUIRED)
Certifications Required:
- BLS
- Active California CLS License
Preferred:
- American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP Certification)
First-time travelers not preferred (strong candidates may be considered)

Candidates may float between Mission Viejo and Laguna Beach locations
Must be flexible with scheduling (including weekends)
Travelers expected to float within the system if needed
