Position Details

Specialty: Surgical Services
Location: New Orleans, Louisiana
Facility: Ochsner Medical Center (part of Vaya Ochsner)
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 3 years at a Level I or II hospital.
Certifications Required:
- CRCST or CSPDT
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- BLS - Basic Life Support
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (if applicable)
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (if applicable)
- TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course (if applicable)
- EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring (for L&D RNs)
- Tech Cert Verification - National (for specific tech roles)
- State License Verification (active LA License or Compact License required)
- NURSYS Verification (for RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
- CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute (specific to certain specialties)

Additional Information

Documentation Required:
- Current/valid Driver's License or State ID (color copy)
- Background Check (7-year criminal background check)
- Drug Testing (10 Panel Drug Screen)
