Travel Pay Rate: (above 50 miles)

• Hourly:$46/hr W2 + $1,360/week (non - taxable stipend)
• Gross:$3,200/weekly

Local Pay Rate: (within 50 miles)
Hourly: $70/hr (W2)

Position Summary:
The Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse (RN) provides specialized perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing complex cardiac and vascular surgical procedures. This role requires advanced clinical expertise, strict adherence to sterile technique, and close collaboration with surgeons, anesthesia providers, perfusionists, and the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Prepare the CVOR suite, equipment, and patients for cardiac and vascular surgeries.
• Perform circulating and/or scrub RN duties during open-heart and vascular procedures.
• Maintain sterile field and ensure compliance with infection-control and safety protocols.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures and document care in the EMR.
• Assist surgeons, anesthesia, and perfusion teams during complex cardiovascular cases.
• Ensure accurate surgical counts, time-outs, and patient safety checks.
• Coordinate post-operative handoff to ICU or recovery teams.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support high-quality cardiovascular surgical care.

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN license of MI.
• ACLS, BLS required.
• must have EPIC experience.
• at least 2 years of experience.
• Experience in CVOR, Genreal OR, Hybrid OR, Trauma
