Position Details:
Amergis Healthcare Staffing is partnered with a much-respected facility in Boston, MA who is currently seeking a qualified Interventional Radiology Tech to assist them on a contractual basis.
Location: Boston, MA
Position: Interventional Radiology Tech
Total Travel Package
Pay: $4,096/week
- Taxable Wages: $2,080/week
- Housing Allowance: $1,463/week
- Meals & Incidentals: $553/week
*Must reside over 50 miles away to qualify for travel
Requirements:
- CT and IR ARRT
- Minimum 2+ years of Interventional Radiology experience
- Able to work independently in IR procedure rooms
- Must be able to independently take on‑call for Trauma certifications
- GE/Siemens experience required
- Extensive thrombectomy device knowledge (PE/Stroke)
- Experience with angio procedures (TIPS, angioplasty)
- CT experience required
- Active MA license
- EMR: EPIC
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Performs a full range of IR and CT procedures following established protocols
- Completes all documentation and computer‑based tasks
- Assists radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff during procedures
- Maintains equipment, inventory, and IR suite readiness
- Ensures accurate patient identification and history documentation
- Adheres to radiation safety and compliance standards
- Transports and prepares patients as needed
- Maintains confidentiality of all patient information
- Performs other duties as assigned
Schedule:
- 4x10 hour shifts
- Weekend coverage required
- Day‑shift rotation
- On‑call required
- Flexibility needed for slight shift variations
