Description
Position Description:
The Mammography Technologist performs a variety of technical activities associated with the performance of screening and diagnostic mammography procedures. The Mammography Technologist uses specialized X-ray equipment to take images of the breast tissue and work with radiologists to interpret the results. The Mammography Technologist helps detect breast cancers early to improve the chances of successful treatment and survival.

Compensation:
- Local Rate: $70/hr
- Traveler Pay Package: $3,105 weekly
- Taxable income: $1180
- Housing: $1,281
- Meals: $644
*Candidates must reside 50+ miles away to qualify for travel.
Requirements:
- Current Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license
- CRT Mammography (M) license
- ARRT registration
- Knowledge of radiologic positioning, principles, techniques, and radiation safety
- Ability to perform screening, diagnostic, supplemental, and implant imaging
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced or stressful environment while maintaining professionalism
- BLS required
Preferred Experience:
- 3D Mammography/Tomosynthesis
- Breast biopsies
- DEXA scans
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1‑hour lunch)
5×8’s | 40 hours/week
