BLS Certification

SHIFT TIMES: Will vary between 8 hours and 10 hours depending on needs of the department. Flexibility required.

No weekends, No Holidays, No Call.

Reviews and evaluates requisitions for Diagnostic imaging procedures, abstracting data

from patient charts and determining appropriateness of procedure prescribed given

diagnosis and clinical signs for routine examinations.

• Identify patients according to Hospital Policy with 2 identifiers.

• Selects appropriate equipment and technical factors to identify pathologic and normal

anatomy.

• Assesses patients' and parents' physical and emotional status and ability to respond to

instructions and develop a care plan for that patients' specific needs.

• Explain the examination and is able to answer questions from patient and parents

regarding the exam and Radiation exposure, practices ALARA.
