Description

Travel Surgical Technologist (Scrub Tech) – Mammoth Lakes, CA
13 Weeks | Housing Available
Shift: Varied 12-hour day/evening shifts

🔧 Responsibilities

Establish and maintain a sterile field
Scrub for a variety of surgical procedures, including sports medicine and trauma
Prepare, inspect, and maintain sterile instruments and supplies
Anticipate equipment and supply needs for each case
Ensure proper function of surgical equipment prior to use
Assist RN with operative documentation and tracking of surgical hardware
Collect and label specimens per protocol

✅ Requirements

High school diploma required
Minimum 2 years OR experience as a Surgical Technologist
Surgical Tech certification (preferred or eligible)
BLS (AHA or ARC) required
Active state license required
Experience scrubbing independently without vendor support preferred
