Description
• Shift: Nights, 1900-0730
• Assignment Length: weeks
ALL CONTINGENCY REQUESTS MUST BE ON THE SUBMISSION FORM
• Weekend Hours: As required by facility/every other weekend
• Call Requirements: None
• Required Licensure: Current RN License (Meets the criteria to be eligible for licensure in state of Missouri or currently licensed in the state of Missouri.)
• Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only, NIHSS
• Preferred Certifications: TNCC
• Years of Experience: 3 year Cardiac and/or Medical ICU, CVI experience of recovering open hearts directly from the OR
• Float Requirements: May be floated to other stepdown units depending on staffing needs
Unit Information:
• Number of Beds: 22
• Patient Ratios: 1:2
• Equipment: Impella, IABP, Prismax CRRT, Zoll internal cooling device, Arctic Sun,
• EMR: EPIC
Hiring Profile:
• Must Have Skills/Experience: 3 years Cardiac Medical ICU, inpatient only
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: experience with medical ICU patients, cardiac emphasis (arrhythmias, STEMI, post arrest)
• Type of Patients on Unit: sepsis, respiratory (pneumonia, COVID, ARDS, etc.) post cardiac arrest, GI bleed, DKA, PE, renal failure, liver failure, pancreatitis, overdose, suicidal ideations, CIWA,
• Personality Fit: We expect excellence and hold each other accountable
Dress Code:
• Scrub Color: Black
• Any unacceptable attire: anything other than above, hats, non mercy jackets/sweatshirts, air pods
Auto Offer Guidelines:
• Flexible Guaranteed Hours - 36 or 48 hours - must be listed on submission form
• Blocked Scheduling (no specific days) may be approved based on facility requirements - must be listed on submission form
• RTO of 5 days or less, must make up the week on the back end
• Holiday RTO – can request only 1 per assignment
