Description

Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: Adults only
Cardiothoracic: Post-cath, post-Watchman, post-TAVRs, robotic assisted thoracotomies (straight to floor), chest pain, ACS, CHF, MIs, new onset a-fib, arrhythmias
Medical: post-bariatric surgeries, peritoneal dialysis (experience not required), COPD, GI bleeds, infections, etc.
EEG: 3 rooms set up for continual EEG monitoring for stable seizure patients
BLS, ACLS required
Skills required:
Experience with above patient types. If there are a few things candidate is not proficient with, seek manager approva
Interpret cardiac rhythms, TR bands, post-cath femoral monitoring (no sheaths), IV starts, foleys insertions/care, NG tubes, wound care, etc.
Will initiate Tikosyn therapy
Drips (non-titrating): Amiodarone, Cardizem, nitro, heparin (experience required).
