Description

Job Title: Surgical Technologist – Operating Room (Contract)

City/State: Kansas City, KS

Assignment Details

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days
Schedule: 4x10s, Tuesday–Friday | 06:30–17:00

Job Summary

The Hospital is seeking an experienced Operating Room Surgical Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in high-acuity surgical environments and demonstrate flexibility to support multiple OR specialties within a Level I Trauma Center.

Required Experience

Strong experience in:
- ENT
- Neuro
- Surgical Oncology (General Surgery)
Level I Trauma experience required
Minimum 3 years of Surgical Technologist experience if non-certified

Preferred Experience

1.5–2 years of travel assignment experience
Strong Orthopedic experience
Transplant experience

Licensure & Certifications

NBSTSA certification preferred
AHA BLS required

Additional Requirements

Floating to all ORs required
On-call: 3–4 shifts per 8-week period (may include weekends)
Weekend shifts: None scheduled
Holiday shifts: Not required
- If a holiday falls on a scheduled workday, the subsequent pay period will be reduced by holiday pay hours
Nicotine-free facility
