Position: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Facility: UW Health – University Hospital
Unit: Respiratory Therapy – Tech
Start Date: February 23, 2026
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Work Location: 600 Highland Ave Madison, WI 53792

Schedule

Shift Options (Nights):
- 3×12s: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 5×8s: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Call Requirement: 1 call shift per 6 weeks
Floating: Yes (travelers float first based on staffing needs)

Required Experience & Qualifications

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – NBRC
CRT – NBRC
BLS – American Heart Association only
Wisconsin RCP License (must be in hand at submission)
Minimum 2 years acute care experience (hard requirement)
Experience in Academic Level 1 Trauma Center or similar size hospital
Trauma Level I & II experience required
Epic charting experience required
Prior travel experience preferred
