Description
BLS required, ACLS-Preferred, NIHSS required. 2 years of experience required in specialty. diabetic, CHF, COPD, GI bleed, renal failure, dialysis (they have a dialysis nurse ), some overflow post surgicals, amputations, debridments, wound care, DVTs, ETOH, psych (in future may have hospice-not live yet) Lasix, Bumex and Heparin Yes, monitored on different unit. Nurses not required to read strips Yes, does not take a patient assignment, will take only if needed Yes, CNA's 1:12,generally ,do get pulled for 1:1 and sitters (Do try to have 1-8) cpap, only night for bipap 6:45-7:15, all 12 hour Every Other Weekend Rotate with permanent staff Yes, to all acute care and cardio to take care of medical, or EC for acute care patient holds Caribbean Blue top and bottom OR White top and Caribbean Blue bottom OR all white top/bottom. 3 days Need to have experience with same type of hospital acuity, no CAH. Need experience at a larger organization with high acuity, high turnover and fast pace. Need to take patient satisfaction and quality of care seriously. Patient safety is very important.
