Description
UNIT: Emergency Department
Clinical Interviews - Unit manager does a final interview here before we can offer. MUST have EPIC exp. no exceptions.
Certs Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, CPI/MOAB
Experience Required: 2 years of ED experience. Previous travel experience preferred. Must have Level III trauma or higher experience.
General ED experience: Cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV skills, and basic ED knowledge of drips and med administration. Procedural sedation, blood administration, TNK administration (preferred), cardiac medications.
RN: Day - 1:4-5 (ability to flex to 5 based on acuity and staffing
Patient Types: Patient types from peds to geriatrics: Trauma, GSW, sepsis, COVID, STEMI (large amount), Stroke, DKA, mental health, respiratory issues, geriatric, Adult Psych, Stroke (TNK), high acuity medical. High geriatric population (falls, STEMI). Does not do any invasive neuro - no craniotomies. Small amount of pediatrics. Generally transfer to Mary Bridge.
