Mammography Technologist – Day Shift

Shift:

Day Shift – 5x8-hour shifts
Hours: Between 07:30 AM – 6:00 PM (hours may vary based on department needs)
Schedule: Monday – Friday with Saturday rotation

Job Description:

The Mammography Technologist will provide high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography services within the Mammography Department. This role requires flexibility to float across departments within the Main Campus and deliver patient-centered imaging care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography, including 2D and 3D imaging
• Assist with wire localizations, radar localizations, and stereotactic biopsies
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality during procedures
• Maintain image quality standards and adhere to departmental protocols
• Accurately document procedures and patient records
• Float to other departments within the Main Campus as needed
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members

Daily Caseload:

• Approximately 150 patients per day

Required Qualifications:

• Active California Mammography Technologist License
• CRT (M) certification – REQUIRED
• BLS certification – REQUIRED
• Minimum 2 years of Mammography experience – REQUIRED

Preferred Qualifications:

• ARRT certification – Highly Preferred
• Ability to adapt to a high-volume department
• Strong communication and patient care skills
