Job Description

• Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM, every 3rd weekend; no on-call requirements
• Patient Care:

  • Care for vent-dependent patients and IV drips
  • Recoveries after hours occasionally
  • May be asked to float to Medical-Surgical telemetry (ratio 6:1)
• Patient Ratios:

  • 3:1 or 2:1 depending on the type of patient
• Unit Capacity: 14 beds
• Monthly Department Volume: 181

Requirements

• Licensure: Indiana state license required
• Certifications:

  • ACLS
  • BLS
• Experience:

  • 1-2 years of critical care experience
  • Critical care skills (no ECHMO or trauma ERRT)
• Location Requirement: Candidates must be located at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted.
