Schedule

Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: 5 × 8-hour shifts
Hours: 08:00 AM – 04:30 PM
Days: Monday – Friday
Weekends: Not required
Holidays: Not required

Job Responsibilities

Deliver radiation treatments as prescribed by radiation oncologists
Operate linear accelerators (TrueBeam preferred)
Perform CT simulations and treatment setup
Utilize imaging techniques (CBCT, kV/mV) for accurate patient positioning
Administer external beam therapy and advanced radiation techniques
Ensure radiation safety standards are met
Document treatments accurately and assist with billing-related workflows
Float as needed across UMass campuses within scope

Minimum Requirements

Experience: Minimum 1 year of Radiation Therapy experience
License:
- Active Massachusetts Radiation Therapist License – Required at submission
Certifications:
- ARRT (T)
- BLS
Travel Experience: Not required
COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required
Flu Vaccine: Required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)

Floating Information

Primary location: University Campus
May float to: Memorial, Fitchburg, and Marlborough campuses

Aaky J was very responsive, respectful and considerate, he responds quickly and he returns texts asap, I’ve even gotten random texts just asking how I was doing. I’ve never worked with Lancesoft before but Aaky has made it comfortable.

Cons

Maybe the only thing which truly isn’t a problem is the dialect, but we got through that as well.
