Position Overview – MRI Technologist Primary Modality: MRI • CT/X-ray preferred, not required • Shared CT/X-ray call preferred if licensed • Guaranteed 40 hours (5×8s) • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm • No weekends, no holidays • Duration: 13 weeks • IMPORTANT: Facility requires a rapid Day-1 start coordinated by HR Role Summary The MRI Technologist provides high-quality diagnostic imaging services in accordance with professional standards, regulatory requirements, and Lake Health District policies. Performs MRI and general radiography procedures (as credentialed), ensures patient safety and comfort, evaluates image quality, and follows radiation protection and MRI safety protocols. Exercises independent clinical judgment and responds appropriately to emergent patient conditions. Education Requirements • Associate degree in Radiologic Technology (required) • Bachelor’s degree (preferred) Licensure & Certifications • ARRT MRI – Required • ARRT (R) – Preferred • ARRT CT – Preferred • BLS/CPR – Required • Active Oregon Rad Tech license – Preferred Additional Notes • Rad Tech license strongly preferred (small hospital, cross-modality support desired)
