DESCRIPTION:

Registered Nurse (RN) – Preop/Postop Endoscopy (GI Lab)

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 5x8s
No call, no weekends, no holidays
May take an occasional late shift if operationally needed

Unit/Department:

Busy Outpatient GI Lab / Endoscopy
Pre-Procedure and Post-Anesthesia Care (Prep/Recovery)
Average daily census: ~60 patients per day

Required Qualifications
Active RN license
Minimum 2 years of RN experience
Experience in pre- and post-recovery care of GI patients
Procedure monitoring experience (required)
Proficiency in:
- Starting IVs
- Recovering patients from MAC sedation
BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
EPIC EMR experience (required)
Must be an experienced traveler (first-time travelers will not be accepted)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in an Outpatient Endoscopy Center*
Pre/Post Procedure experience*
GI nursing experience with patient education focus
