ICU RN – 12-Hour Shifts (Day/Night) Unit: ICU – 7 beds Patient Ratio: 2:1 (some 1:1) Shift: 12-hour day/night, weekends required; float to MedSurg and other units within competency Experience: Minimum 2 years ICU; previous travel experience required Licenses/Certs: IN or compact RN license, AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Equipment/EMR: Meditech, Omnicell, Liberty PD Cycler, Philips monitors, Alaris IV pumps, NICOM Job Duties: Assess patients, provide safe, efficient nursing care, evaluate effectiveness Collaborate and coordinate care, meet expected outcomes Float to other units as needed (within competency) Professional nurse dress required Comments: AP rates slightly lower (see full rate details) 3×12-hour night shifts = 34.5 guaranteed hours/week (30-min unpaid break each shift) 8-hour non-billable orientation; guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation Local candidates within 80 miles: $8 reduction in bill rate
