Description

Job Description:

We’re seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Overland Park, Kansas. This is a great opportunity for both travel and local clinicians looking for a solid day-shift assignment with no call requirements.

Assignment Details:

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day Shift | 0700–1900
Hours: 36 hours per week (3x12s)
Call: None
Weekends: Every other weekend required

Compensation Options:

Travel Rate:
- $41.00/hour taxable
- $1,246.00/week tax-free stipend
- Weekly Gross: $2,722.00
Local Rate:
- $70.00/hour (taxable)

Role Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients
Monitor fetal heart tracings and maternal status
Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
Administer medications and treatments per provider orders
Educate patients and families throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
Collaborate with OB providers, anesthesia, and neonatal teams
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR

Requirements:

Active RN license
Labor & Delivery experience required
BLS ,ACLS & NRP
Ability to work every other weekend
1 year RN travel experience and 1 year L&D experience.
