Description
This unit takes advanced care level patients and needs to have experience with advanced care level drips and need to have worked some advanced care/step down before* Mixed acuity unit. **No holiday RTO being accepted** **No travel partners**
36 OR 48 HOURS ACCEPTED **For 48-hour contract, OT is paid out after 48 hours**
NO BLOCK SCHEDULE
1.5 years exp and some level 1 or 2 preferred **Targeted patient ratios are 1:4, but they can be up to 1:5-6** *Unit participates/may participate in team nursing model where RNs, LPNs, and PCTs partner together to care for a group of patients. The goal of this model is to divide the work and not the patients, ultimately improving both the workload and patient care. Nurses may function in either team nursing or primary nursing depending on the needs of the unit. **No more than 7 days of RTO will be approved

MUST BE ABLE TO PASS AN ONLINE EKG TELE COMPETENCY ASSESSMENT PRIOR TO STARTING ASSIGNMENT • 13 weeks • Must Float to all Stepdown/Advanced Care units Job Requirements: BLS ACLS must read and interpret strips Must have or be willing to obtain NIH Nurses will be fitted for N95 prior to working on HRRU unit unless PAPR is offered/needed. Minimum 2 years experience in large hospital level 1 preferred will accept level 2 experience Travel experience preferred FLOATING REQUIREMENTS: Traveler will be first to float at Premiers discretion. Agency will float in/out of specialty cluster and will be assigned a medically appropriate assignment or support the nursing care team of the unit floated to, IF YOURE ASSIGNED TO MVH THIS COULD INCLUDE FLOATING MAIN CAMPUS (Dayton) SOUTH CAMPUS (Centerville) less than 10 miles from Main Campus AND NORTH CAMPUS (Englewood) less than 15 miles from Main Campus. Traveler must be available to work every other weekend/holiday. Travelers are not eligible for Premier Health Employee incentives. Medical exemptions will not be accepted for a contract. Shift Info: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
