DESCRIPTION:

Travel Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry (MS-Tele)

Location: Bucyrus, OH 44820
Shift: Days, 3*12

Floating & On-Call Requirements

Must be willing to float to MS-Tele units at other campuses (Ontario & Galion) if census drops, in order to maintain scheduled hours
On Call Requirement: If placed on call, traveler must be able to arrive at the hospital within 1 hour when called in

Schedule Requirements

Every Other Weekend (EOW) is required
All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application

Minimum Qualifications

Active RN license (state-specific requirements apply)
Minimum of 2 years of recent and consecutive MS-Tele experience in a hospital/acute care setting
Previous travel nursing experience required
Knowledge and experience with medication scanning systems
Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new environments

Certifications (Required)

BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

Staffing & Unit Details

Typical nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5
Unit focus includes cardiac monitoring and emergency response
