(MS) General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.) BLS, WV Nursing License, Bard PICC Cert How many scanners/rooms does this department have? 1 Will they have to float/cover any other areas? No float, just IR PICC Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties: PICC with ultrasound/sherlock, Midline with ultrasound, Port Access in MRI and CT, IV access throughout the hospital Experience or 'Must have' skills: IV Experience, PICC insertion experience Average # of scans/studies per day: 4-5 PICC/midlines per day, several IV's and port access EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use: EPIC Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens): SiteRite Ultrasound Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech: Radiology Supervisor Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)? No Radiologist in-house?: Yes Do they have to start IV's? Yes Shifts & Scheduling: Day shift, may be staggered shifts. 8-4:30 or 8:30-5 Weeknight/Call Requirements: No weeknights, may have to stay late occasionally to finish up day Weekend/Call Requirements: No weekends or call Holiday/Call Requirements: No Holidays What is call response time? N/A Scrub Color/Dress Code: Are scrubs provided?: Blue scrubs (OR blue), scrubs will be provided Department specific orientation: Orientation of hospital policies and mandatory education vis workday.
