Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Contract

Location: Covington, OH 45014
Job Type: 13-week contract
Facility Type: Skilled nursing and rehabilitation
Schedule: Full-time; flexible weekdays, may include occasional weekends
 

Alto Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality therapy services for residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. This role involves evaluating, treating, and documenting care for residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to support individualized therapy goals.
 

What You’ll Do

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop treatment plans
• Provide therapy for residents with dysphagia, cognitive-communication, and speech/language impairments
• Document sessions, evaluations, and progress notes in compliance with regulations
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care
• Communicate therapy goals and progress with residents, families, and staff

What We’re Looking For

• Current, active SLP license in Ohio
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Current BLS certification (hands-on, non-expired)
• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
