Position Overview

Hamilton General Hospital is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist with experience in X-Ray and CT to join their Radiology team. This role supports inpatient units, the Emergency Department, and outpatient services in a hospital-based radiology setting.

Schedule & Call Requirements

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
On-call: 1–2 nights per week
Weekend call: Every other weekend
Monday off following on-call weekend
On-call response time: 20 minutes required

Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic X-Ray and CT imaging procedures
Provide imaging support for inpatient, ED, and outpatient cases
Ensure patient safety, image quality, and adherence to protocols
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and clinical teams
Accurately document studies using Cerner EMR

Requirements

Active Texas Radiologic Technologist License (required)
ARRT Certification (required)
Experience in X-Ray and CT
Ability to take call and meet response-time requirements

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Pay: $32.00 – $37.00/hour (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
Relocation Assistance: Up to $1,500 (with receipts)

Additional Information

Typical staffing: 3–4 technologists covering Mammography, X-Ray, CT, and MRI
One technologist assigned daily to X-Ray/CT coverage
Scrubs: Any solid color
Dress Code: Conservative jewelry only (no facial piercings or tongue rings)
Mandatory Flu Vaccine Policy

Aaky J was very responsive, respectful and considerate, he responds quickly and he returns texts asap, I’ve even gotten random texts just asking how I was doing. I’ve never worked with Lancesoft before but Aaky has made it comfortable.

Cons

Maybe the only thing which truly isn’t a problem is the dialect, but we got through that as well.
