Description

NICU RN
NO LOCAL CANDIDATES (no candidates within 50-mile radius)
No Arrhythmia Test Required
Must have experience with cooling, ventilators, JET, Oscillators required
2.5-3 years NICU experience required
BLS & NRP required
36-Hr GTE, 12-Hr. Nights
Every other weekend/major holiday required
ITO will interview

Unit Specific Details
Level 3B NICU - babies >23 weeks
21 Beds
Skill Sets: NRP and Stable
Equipment: Medfusion pumps, PICC lines started by trained RNs, Umbilical lines, Intubation by trained transport nurses, Body cooling, Giraffe Shuttle which attaches to our Incubator to keep it warm and run a ventilator.
Ventilators (JET, Oscillators)

May occasionally float within New Life or to other NICUs nearby
Ratio*: 1:2-3
