Description

RN PCU/Stepdown Unit 8S - OBS/Intermediate Care

This position will not accept local candidates.
Dysrhythmia Exam Required (Study Guide Available)
12 HR Nights, EOW, EOH
BLS, ACLS, NIH required
Navy Blue Scrubs

Unit Specific Details:
16 beds
Ratios 1:4-5 with high admission discharge/turnover. Can have 1 PCA on days and 1 on nights depending on availability. Charge nurse in/out ratio intermittently on days and no charge on nights.

Chest Pain/Heart Cath/TIA/R/O stroke/Seizure/Outpatient Surgery-Misc. Intermediate/tele & some Med Surg (also currently housing neuro spine post-op intermittently).

Central Lines, Wound Vacs, Hemovacs, JP drains, Feeding tubes. Oxygen: Intermittent BiPAP, CPAP, High Flow NC, No trachs.

Cardiac drips can be initiated pending transfer. Pre/Post Cath experience.
