Stipend – Travel RN – Skilled Nursing Facility
If you’ve been on the fence about diving into the world of travel nursing, this is your sign to take the plunge. As a travel RN with LeaderStat, you’ll get the opportunity to meet healthcare professionals from all over the nation and sharpen your clinical skillset, all while providing top-of-the-line care to residents in a skilled nursing facility.
When you join the LeaderStat team, you’ll be connected with a dedicated specialist before and during your assignment. They will work with you to coordinate onboarding and provide support throughout your entire assignment.
Stipend
For this contract, you will receive a stipend to assist with expenses. A stipend is defined as a weekly, untaxed sum of money to pay for lodging, meals, transportation, and incidental expenses. This puts you in control of your own money!
Job Duties
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop personalized care plans for residents
- Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and their families
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Taking and monitoring vital signs
- Administering medications
- Overseeing Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)
- Providing companionship and comfort to all residents
Job Requirements/Qualifications
- At least one year of clinical experience in a long-term care setting (skilled nursing facility, assisted living, etc.) as an RN
- Active RN license in the state assigned, or in an eligible Nurse Compact State
- Possess empathy and passion for serving others
- Serve as a leader and a trusted resource to other healthcare team members
- Up-to-date certifications/compliance:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR via American Heart Association (AHA)
- Two-step TB test
- Physical exam within the last 12 months
