Description

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) with strong clinical skills and recent hands-on experience in surgical services. The ideal candidate is confident working in a fast-paced OR environment and has experience supporting complex procedures, including C-sections and robotic surgeries.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct perioperative nursing care in the operating room
Assist with surgical procedures, including C-sections and robotic-assisted surgeries
Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and sterile fields according to surgical case requirements
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical team members to ensure safe and efficient patient care
Monitor patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols
Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and surgical emergencies

Requirements:

Active RN license
Minimum of 2+ years of recent OR nursing experience
Proven experience with C-sections and robotic surgeries
Current BCLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required

13-week contract Shift: 7am-3:30pm/40 hours per week Local Rate: 60.00 an hour
