Connected Health Care is partnering with a leading healthcare facility in Garberville, California to recruit a skilled Local Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment. This position provides the unique opportunity to work in a mixed inpatient (SNF and swing) and outpatient setting, offering diverse patient care experiences with competitive pay.
Job Description
- Evaluate, plan, and implement physical therapy treatment plans for a variety of patients in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and patient education to improve mobility and function
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all treatments and patient interactions
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and compliance with facility standards
Requirements
Education & Certifications
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Active California Physical Therapy License
- BLS certification
Skills & Competencies
- Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and hands-on therapy skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
