Description

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide first aid, illness assessment, and emergency response
  • Administer medications and treatments per district and physician orders
  • Monitor students with chronic conditions (diabetes, asthma, seizures, allergies, etc.)
  • Maintain daily clinic logs and accurate health documentation
  • Support Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs)
  • Communicate professionally with parents, school staff, and health teams
  • Promote safety, hygiene, and health awareness in the school environment

Requirements

  • Active Florida LPN License
  • Current CPR/BLS Certification (AHA preferred)
  • Pediatric, community health, or school-based experience highly beneficial
  • Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a school clinic setting
