Description
Position Title: Nuclear Medicine technologist
Location: Atlanta, GA
Total Travel Package: $3,076 / week
*Must reside over 50 miles away to qualify for the travel package*
· Taxable wages: $1,080.00
· Weekly lodging allowance: $805.00
· Weekly meals / incidentals: $560.00
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs tests for patient diagnosis, progress or deterioration and medical research. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist prepares and gives radiopharmaceuticals to patients when indicated and uses high-level imaging equipment to record images of the radioactive material in the patient’s body. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works in collaboration with physicians to provide images for interpretation to study and diagnose a medical condition. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist gives doses of radiation to patients internally to treat various medical conditions when prescribed by a physician. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist participates in a variety of technical tasks, tests and determinations involving the utilization of radioactive materials and measurement instrumentation. Requirements:
- Min of 2 years of experience within specialty.
- Required BLS. Preferred ACLS
- ARRT
